EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS (ETO)

STRATEGIC OPERATIONS (Eighth Air Force): Mission 680: 2 B-17s and 7 B-24s
are dispatched on a night leaflet mission to France, the Netherlands and
Germany.

TACTICAL OPERATIONS (Ninth Air Force): Ninth AF advance HQ follows HQ
Twelfth Army Group to Luxembourg. All operations are cancelled due to
weather. In France, HQ 358th Fighter Group and the 366th and 367th Fighter
Squadrons move from Vitry-le-Francois to Mourmelon with P-47s.
