TACTICAL OPERATIONS (Ninth Air Force): In France, bad weather grounds the
bombers; fighters provide air cover for the US 8th and 29th Infantry
Divisions; the 391st Fighter Squadron, 366th Fighter Group, moves from Dreux
to Laon/Couvron with P-47s; and the 392d Fighter Squadron, 367th Fighter
Group, moves from Cricqueville to Peray with P-38s.
