EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS (Eighth Air Force)
In England, a Board of 5 officers of the Eighth Air Force and 1 of the
Royal Air Force complete formulation of a plan for the Combined Bomber
Offensive (CBO) from the United Kingdom in accordance with the mission
prescribed by the Combined Chiefs of Staff (CCS) in the Casablanca
Directive.
