The Modified Furniture

• Almost everything in the Computer Room was hand crafted. My friend Michelle is very creative and her talent combined with my mechanical skills allowed us to design and create all of the furniture. Prior to my even moving into the house, Michelle bought a large dining table and 5 chairs.  We cut the table in half making one side a base for the bookcase that I built and the other half was used to make the computer table with pull out shelf. I also made three angle shelves in two corners of the room, one for my TV and the other for the radio and miscellaneous nick nacs.  Michelle had an enlarged picture of a B-17 Bomber made and I crafted a frame for it and had a piece of glass cut at Lowes.  There was no access to the water heater which is just adjacent to this room so I cut a hole through the wall and made a pull out shelf just in case the water heater has to one day be replaced. 
• We put venation blinds on all of the windows throughout the house.  I made plywood valences and Michelle covered them with material.
• The Laundry is in the kitchen and has bi-fold doors to access it.  I added some of those metal shelves for the laundry detergents and other cleaning stuff.  I was caught on Camera coming into the kithcen with a piece of trim in my hand.
• I made the drop leaf table for the kitchen, mainly because I need an exact size because of the back door.  Here again, I did the construction and Michelle did the painting.  We spent a considerable amount of time in the kitchen.  The cabinets were ok except for needing cleaned but all the wallpaper needed replace and the ceiling needed paint.
• The backyard is still a work in progress and the deck back there will have to have a good going over as well.  As you can see, the garage is now much better looking with new paint and the rain spout and eaves repaired.
• I took the picture in the living room just today  June 30, 2010 and was surprised to see that I got Vandersloot with yet another scam.  Some dirt bag he is.
• This site is far from done and I will be working on it from time to time.  Anyway, it should give you some idea of what has been going on for the past year.
