MaterialsYou will of course need a vehicle in which to install the wood burner. After quite a bit of research, I found that the Corvair Truck with a rear mounted air cooled engine would be a very good choice. First of all, the truck provides adequate room for the Gasifier installation as well as a place to store wood if you plan on going some distance. The Corvair Engine is also very accessible from the top cover in the rear of the truck and all modifications to the Manifold can easily be made to adapt to the Gasifier. The Corvair has a carburetor on each side of the engine so these inlets that were originally intended for gasoline use can be brought together to facilitate a single adapter that will join to the Gasifier.
